Seán graduated with an MAI in Neural Engineering from Trinity College Dublin in 2022. Despite the background in biomedical engineering, he has always had a keen interest in neuroimaging and behavioral neuroscience. For his final year project he examined the effect that inter-person synchrony has upon collective group performance in co-operative tasks using a multi-person, synchronized EEG study. From this, he has gained a good amount of experience recording, processing and analyzing neuroimaging data. Seán is looking forward to developing his passion for research at Ulysses, working to improve the quality of life for patients suffering with neuropsychiatric conditions and to illuminate the potential therapeutic actions of psychedelic compounds.
