Ross Oglesby

Research Assistant - In-Vivo Team

Ross graduated with a BA in Neuroscience from Trinity College Dublin. He is particularly interested in neurological/neurodegenerative disorders, with his undergraduate Capstone project focussing on the relationship between parvalbumin inhibitory interneurons and pathological gamma oscillations in a mouse model for Alzheimer’s Disease. Through his project he gained experience in many different laboratory techniques, such as immunohistochemistry and ex-vivo electrophysiology, while also further strengthening his passion for research. Ross is looking forward to being a part of the Ulysses team and contributing to research that has patient-centricity at it’s core, as he continues to develop his research skills and find his place in the field of neuroscience before undertaking a PhD in the future.
