Mary graduated with a BA in Neuroscience & Behaviour from the University of Notre Dame and an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience from the National University of Ireland, Galway. She engaged in undergraduate research in cognitive neuroscience of memory and ageing, driven by her strong interest in neurodegenerative disease, ageing, and neuroimaging. Through her MSc dissertation, she gained further experience with neuroimaging data by investigating the relationship between the default mode network and personality. Additionally, during her MSc, she gained an interest in drug development for neuropsychiatric disorders. She is excited to further pursue and expand these interests at Ulysses. In addition to her interests in neuroscience, Mary is also passionate about improving the patient experience of those with neuropsychiatric disorders. Her values align with Ulysses’ mission of patient-centred research.
