Edda Grilli

Senior Research Assistant - Biomarker team

Fascinated by factors shaping our brains, Edda’s MSc in Neuroscience at the University of Pisa deepened her understanding of the neuroscientific field. A year-long internship honed her technical and computational skills, perineuronal nets, in limiting to brain plasticity. She was awarded with a research fellowship looking for environmental factors able to influence brain functioning, expanding her immunohistochemistry, animal handling and data analysis. Edda is excited about the prospect of contributing to research that seeks factors implicated in the onset of nervous systems disorders, opening new possibilities for patient treatments and interventions. She believes that the dynamic and multicultural environment at Ulysses Neuroscience represents the ideal setting for  conducting such groundbreaking research to ameliorate patients’ lives
