Yesterday Ulysses Neuroscience Ltd. hosted its second annual event Rare Disease Day 2023. Rare Disease Day is a very important day that is held on the last day of February every year to help raise awareness for the over 7,000 rare diseases that impact people worldwide. At Ulysses Neuroscience we help to play our part on Rare Disease Day by raising awareness for rare diseases as well as informing people of the exciting research being conducted.
We hosted a variety of presentations from all stakeholders in the rare disease community. There were overviews on the current research on rare brain disorders from both academia and industry, as well as presentations from patients and patient communities to raise awareness of rare neurological diseases. The day also ended with a feedback and brainstorming activity to discuss how research in rare disorders can be moved forward.
